I felt like to post a Roadmap to let you people know what we are currently planning (Warning: anything in here can be changed anytime we drop the Idea of it etc., you have been warned.)

Well first of all do i personally thank everyone who are still more or less active interested in Obsidian Conflict even due serveral Facepunches (yeah yeah i know but i couldn't resist to use it), we really try our best to get along with all that stuff but since i'm the only coder left most of the important things lays now on my shoulders which already have heavy load (school etc.).
Anyways, here we go: (remember this is mostly the point of view from my side w0rf0x will sure bring hers in too soon)

Code:
- Obsidian Conflict 1.36 : First Version on Steam which will also feature a new versioning syntax, it's now 0.1.3.6 to indicate that it's basically still a beta

- Obsidian Conflict 1.0 : TBA

- Lua Implementation : This or something very smiliar coming with 1.0

- Nothing special is planned at this point, let us get here first then we'll see about it...


I also wanted to note that if you know anyone that you know very well and belive he could be a good help for us (like as a Coder or anything in that direction, and you know that he could like this Mod, try to ask him to join here and we'll see what will happen ;))


Note: No detailed Information is available to the mentioned things in the Roadmap, it may get added from time to time

Well, at least see at the LUA objective still on the list. Sadly, i don't know coding (yet), but i'm making great advances in modeling, mapping and animating, so i'll continue helping the mod.

what about multipassengers vehicles (buggy, bus, plane may be)? I know they are already in synergy but synergy slowly dies. It would be awesome if obsidian had this feature

They are already on Steam, they just haven't released that version yet.

Gary is correct that we already have the ability to distribute on Steam, but Greenlighting the mod would allow us to access (and change/fix) Source engine code, thereby reducing the occurence of errors and crashes. However, that's still in the decision phase at this time.

I think the only time we'll get a Source SDK code update is when it starts having purchasable hats integrated, i.e. hatconomy.
