1.35 Can't install on Windows 7 x64.

Post by free4all »

Hello.

When i am launching oc-beta1.35_full.exe i get an error message:

Code: Select all

[Window Title]
C: \ d0wnload \ oc-beta1.35_full.exe

[Content]
Version of this file is compatible with the version of Windows. Check the information on the system on your computer, what version is needed (x86 - 32-bit or x64 - 64-bit), then contact the software publisher.

[OK]
Please help! It worked on my Windows SP3 x32.

It worked fine here and I'm running 64 bit as well.

Besides,
Version of this file is compatible with the version of Windows.
I don't see a problem there?

Check for an update to Win7, then?
EDIT: Wait, if it works, then how is it an error? I think a screencap of this would help.
I usually run from rockets.
Pretty straightforward.

Try running as administrator and troubleshoot compatibility.

ATI Graphics card?

Search the forum for mounting issues & or ATI cards. Have a nice day.

Lol textures fixed themselves, but the dedicated server problem still persists.

Use the Sy nergy dedicated server, TF2 uses the wrong binaries.

Thx, i'll try to use that. But even easier is to make local server and then sv_lan 0 and mapchange :). I played yesterday with friends and this game rocks! This topic can now be closed.
