FileFront Looks a Little Bare...

Post by Lucky9Two »

I go on Filefront to download things these days, and it's so clean and empty! No-Ads, No-Popups; it's cool!

Figure out how I did it and post a reply (Hint on the picture)

That's Called Windows 7 64-Bit Edition's Version of "Classic". Very Annoying to have my "Desktop" quick button in the bottom right! I'm used to it being next to start.

Mozilla Firefox Addons are great.

It's an addon called "Ad Block Plus". It blocks EVERYTHING. Literally, it's like it's not even there. Just search "ABP". It might be the best Firefox addon ever...

I'm also using it for a long time. Including Noscript. Nothing can come through unless I want it too now.

One downside of adblock plus and noscript: You can't see ads (good) so the site owners won't get paid for your visit (bad). Because a lot of people use adblock so they don't get paid for a lot of visitors but the site owners do have to pay for the bandwidth they cost. So adblock plus owners are making losses. That's why I turn it off on sites I trust and that don't have annoying ads.
