I got the idea for this map while i played loz_castledefense, i thought it would be cool to have all obsidian NPC´s in one map.
Im planing to make 4 attack waves:
-Zombies
-Human Military
-Combine Military
-Xen Monsters
and here is a first screenshot, very WIP (I started working on that map today)

Just remember, the key to every great onslaught map is details and change. Don't strech it on to long. But I'm sure you know what you're doing.
A suggestion would be to have several castles and have it so when 1 gets overrun, you spawns at a further back castle. This would add a point rather than just killing things that come to you.
