Hmm it appears I am having track train troubles today. Right now I am attempting to get a working cut scene, and finally after about an hour of troubleshooting (this is my first cut scene) I finally got it working... almost. So I was playing some Oc maps recently and I noticed some npcs such as combine and rebels using ak47's, m3's, etc. I have tried in the past to give npcs like citizens weapons like regular pistols (even if it isn't listed under the weapon choices), by manually entering it, and I didn't seem to have a...

Time for a long over due update! It's been a while, but now I am back to making somewhat regular progress on the map. As you can see I have added a bandit camp and some bandits along the highway. Oh and special thanks to the mappers on mapping help for explaining how to get around the default damage...

Ok so I am still trying to figure out how to make civilians killable but not aggressive. So far I have tried damage filters, and I tried to set the player to hate the npc, but that just seems to break hammer. Any suggestions/ advice? I am kind of stuck on this one.

Horror maps are always a lot of fun. I like the custom fonts and textures, but the map itself looks like it has way too much unused space. Some of the ceilings also seem a bit high, but that might just be me. Otherwise, looking forward to how this turns out. :)

I've got some great news. Now with everything working again, I am back to work at the map. Here's some new overdue screenshots of current progress. The map is also taking a different turn in terms of game play style than I had originally intended. It looks like the map will be more of an exploration...

I don't necessarily want them to hate the player. Right now I am wondering if it is possible to have non-aggressive citizens, that just kind of walk around and do their thing, but the player can kill them.

Does anyone know how to make civilians killable? I tried playing around with the damage filter, but that didn't seem to work. I know it is possible, because I have seen some maps with this feature.

Does anyone know/ have a list of textures that when used with create geometry, will grow 3D grass? I know a few of them like blendgrassgravel, but I think there are quite a few more, and don't know of any others.
