It's only ~26K triangles. Though, note the original xbox wasn't very powerful(Custom Coppermine-based 733 MHz Intel Pentium III CPU, 233 MHz nVidia NV2A GPU, 200 MHz 64MB DDR SDRAM)

I remember us having problems a while back with people using stupidly long gif images(huge filesize). Well, maybe not as much "us" as it was "me".

The only geometry I would create outside of Hammer is displacements. Because I hate the displacement tool in Hammer.
