Maybe everyone who likes Obsdian (besides me) is completely broke. Im not saying im loaded. I just have a decent job with fair hours.

BUT DAYUM a dollar a slot... A six player server would only cost you $6 a freaking month?!? If you can afford a computer capbable of playing halflife2 how could you not afford $6 a month lol?

Way to go Larz........

I am renting one of those servers and I was able to get my custom map up and running in 1 day. Something Art of Warfare Central was not able to do in a month. And for a $8 a month (8 slot server) pretty good deal.

I contribute as well, go me. Ever seen 3dslice.com Dedicated server? That's mine

Specs for that are, 2x160 hd's in raid 0. 500x2 in raid 1
E2180 cpu 1.8 ghz to 3.5(to be replaced by a xeon)
8 gigs of ram
Win 2k3 OS
I don't pay to host it, because I own it physically

Good job on your server as well.

This is a edit after 1 whole year:

Specs have changed

q6600 @ 3.6 ghz
8 gigs of ram
Windows Server 2k8 R2(Are there going to be *nix binaries?)
2x160 hds in RAID 0 for the os, and 6x500 hds in RAID 5 for the storage and where the obsidian server lies.
Oh and a p5q-e before I had a crappy ass 680i.

The guy who owns the servers I believe is Krule.

Larz had about 3 servers from them.
