Manhacks dont work...

Post by BEZOR »

Whenever I throw a manhack, it just sparks and flies away off to never nerver land, and dies.

Am I doing something wrong?

They were changed not long ago to, hang around the player more who released them, instead of wondering off. And actually they do, you just have to lead them to an enemy, and they'll do the work np.

In short they are fine and work well, have to disagree with you.
'I would probably smarten up before you meet Violet'.
'She has zero tolerance for idiots'.

Ok... however when I was near an an enemy, it still flew off.

I will try to play around with them a little more though.

I have some problems with the manhacks AI. it seems that its targeting is messed up because there may be a zombie right by me I deploy a manhack and it goes half way across the map to kill a head crab. (that has happened 3 times.
I think that's all I do and some times/a lot of the time that gets me into trouble.

Doesn't sound like OC's fault... just crappy man hack AI. But, I would think this could still be fixed.

just wondering is is possible to make the secondary of the manhack weapon order the manhacks you spawned to go to a location. mainly because i a tired of deploying some of them and they got attack a target that is almost dead or can't even attack back.

I was thinking of a feature like that a while back.

I also would like that it marks the selected enemy.
