A.I. disabled ? (I have a REAL OFFICIAL BOUGHT COPY OF HL2)

Hey guys,

I've been playing Obsidian Conflict for a while now and I think it's the greatest mod of them all..
but lately i've been having this annoying "error/bug"..

when I start a map I get "A.I. Disabled" and the A.I. doesn't spawn/move

Now I know this is an error that occurs with stolen/copied/false HL2 versions, but i can assure you that I have a legal one right here.

PS: I don't have this problem on Harvest, Diving and Payisan.. and all 3 have A.I.

adding a "ai_fix.cfg" file and adding "exec ai_fix.cfg" in valve.rc doesn't help..

it says "sv_cheats must be 1" so I do that, then put in ai_disable 0 and nothing changes/happens

Could be a mounting issue. Question. Have you used steam mover or anything like that?

you dont use 0 or 1, you just type ai_disable.

Um...Are you doing the "create server" thing or did you buy your own server or what? If it's your own server, just enable cheats and enable it. If you bought one, do the same with rcon. If you're on someone else's server, talk to the owner.

Well, I have little experience with LAN and barely know what it is, but either try typing in "sv_cheats 1" and disabling it or use rcon if that doesn't work.

could you explain what rcon is?
I'm not really a pro in that stuff :p

RCon = Remote Connection

Or Remote Control. It essentially allows you to administrate the server even if you're not at the computer it's based on or something like that.

It may be a real and official copy of HL2 but did Valve's legal department certify it for the use of third party mods?
