Obsidian forums crashes my internet connection.

Post by Svanrog »

Very often when I'm browsing these forums, my internet connection suddenly crashes and I have to restart both my computer, modem and router. Why the hell does this happen? ( I'm running on Opera )
Now I have to use Mozilla to visit the forums and that's annoying! Opera is so much easier to use!

Only in these forums. Crash can happen anywhere. For example when you enter a thread, enter the forum or a sub-forum or when I preview a post.

Annoying as hell as it sometimes prevents me from playing Obsidian!

Are you sure it's not just your browser?

routers have a dendency to block unharmful traffic so some php code that wants to reach your computer may not get trough. I just disabled my routers firewall and opened all ports to every program that needed it.

That will do the trick! Only bad thing is that it's a forum, and an already old cache is pretty useless. :)
