WTB new player animations!
Apparently, Valve can't make games beyond the number 2.
I think the only time we'll get a Source SDK code update is when it starts having purchasable hats integrated, i.e. hatconomy.
Please do not make assumptions you are not knowledgeable enough to make - that just backfires on yourself.

I was going to put this on the betatester forum zone, but since everyone are posting their work/wips here, i decided make it public.
Me and Alligator were working on the npc_missiledefense https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wik ... iledefense
We ported and fixed the model, and tested it in game. AND IT "WORKS":


(the texture is a placeholder, i didnt wanted a texture for a model which probably will become remplaced)
Although the gibs and the sounds are missing (didnt imported the gibs, no idea if the sounds were available in the leak), we can take the first conclusions about the npc:
It has by default health 10HP.
It fires and takes down the rockets more faster than the gunships.
(No idea if is because is faster or probably is missing) Doesnt show tracers of the bullets or the muzzleflashes.
But it has a bug, that we dont know if is due the model, or in the code:
It only tracks and fire ONE rocket. After this got destroyed, it will not work.
We still testing things with the model, but if anyone who can access to the codes here or the HL2 default (yes, its a retail npc) can help us to fix this, we would be finnally use this npc on Source, and the most important of all, in Obsidian Conflict.

I wanted to do the same a while back, but couldn't find a method to decompile leak models...
