Dev01 - Name Pending

This is my second map for Obsidian Conflict once i have finished We've got hostiles. I dont really have any story for it at the moment but i rarely do for my maps. I havent worked much on this map so thats why there isnt much to show at the moment. Any comments are appreciated and suggestions the like. I will update this thread as i progress with the map but as i mentioned earlier i havent worked on this one that much so theres not really much to show.

Oh the poster. Its a old decal that i have forgotten to remove. A minor problem that will be solved quickly. There is more on the map such as the spawn area and another little area. I know its quite early but i wanted to hear your opinions on the map.

Well there isn't really anything bad i can say about it you did a very good job on detail.

Thank you. I am aiming on having a good quality and detail level while still keeping it very optimized for good gameplay. Currently its running very smooth but i have barely only begun on it.

When you make maps do you just use un detailed rooms with those orange shape things then go into detail? thats the best way to make maps, i think.

Thats what i did when i made maps.

I usually do that but it seems like i always screw up with the texture alignment when i do. For the most of the time i stay of the dev texturing and look where i can add detail when i got the basic structure of it done. I also base where to put detail on opinions and critism from beta testers and those who see screenshots of the map.
