Last night in bed I was boared and started thinking about coop maps. Then I though how cool it would be to play an under water coop map. So I started to draw some things and I think it came out well so far. Here is a picture of what I drew. Please excuse the messyness I have like the worst hand writing. I will make a better diagram later.

Now I can't map so I was wondering if some one would like to make it. Now I will help with anything except actually making the map. Also know that the Diagram just goes off the page. I am going to continue on the next page. So it will be bigger.

I'm currently like on-hold with my oc_osprey map because of lack of knowlege and ideas.
I was already thinking about a Submarine Base thing like you are talking about and found some nice prefabs for it too.
Maybe I can try my luck.

EDIT:
I already startet with testing some stuff. I finished a glassway that is under water...but even the glassway is filled with water...that shouldn't be.

Well I have seen people make maps before with water outside of the place But I'm not sure how.

You need to make tunnels in the water brush where your underwater base fits! It will require some work if the shape of your structures are rather complex.

I would make this map not underwater but the appearance that it is underwater. Make a 3dskybox of the seafloor with plants and rocks in it. Give it blueish grey fog. You could also fill the 3dskybox with water and perhaps you would see the surface water correctly.

We are working on it now. There are some nice tricks to let players believe, that there is water.

Well we need it be to in actual water becasue there will be a part where you swim in water out side the base.

so just make a room fil it with water so that players can't go swimming off into the distance with god mode. duh

use the skybox trick, if you dont you will suffer horrible framerate and lag.
