Generalli I didn't mind them, it was when you ended up on a hl2 themed map/ep2 map/etc that it ruined the immersion seeing a halo character or a DOA character running around.

I just caught a weird NPC prop around an hour ago.

It looks like an antlion guard crab or something hahahah.

Lol thats actually called a Crab synth. oc_crimson has a working npc boss of this in the mountains section of his map.

They are supposed to be a sort of tank.

Ever seen the anime Ghost In The Shell? I think thats the name.

Any how the synthetic bitch has a duel with a motion sensing tank thats equipped with a mini gun.

That for me is how a crabsynth came to be in hl2 methinks, if you no-clip inside the crabsynth, you'll spot a mini gun sat inside. Damn you Valve it would of been great.

I'd love to see an animator n coder make the synth act like the one in the film.

(edit: and in your screen shot your looking at its arse btw, just to let you know;)
