Make sure your sound manifest and soundscapes manifest and sound scripts are exactly like they were when you downloaded this mod. Sounds to me the manhack is using the sound indexes of alyx which means you have the sound scripts out of order. Client sounds called from the server are based on a number which is the index of the cached sound on your client. If they dont match it will play the wrong sound. This is to keep network traffic down instead of sending a huge string over the line all the time.
