<3 new hammer updates

Post by skidz »

It works nice now, and I love the new model viewer window.
Using the search filter makes things soooooo easy to find now.

Thank you Valve, you did good this time

For others it has been the exact opposite. Full of bugs and things that doesnt work at all. Havent you experienced it? If not be glad you didnt. It was pure hell :?

nope, I just set it up on my laptop. Works like a dream so far.
You are going to have to have it copy all the new files from the SDK launcher and then start hl2dm and obsidian to renew the gameinfo.txt.

All mod and source game root directories should have them. They should be generated from starting the games themselves.

Updated model viewer is a plus. But hammer have started to shut down when I for example browse the internet or chatting on irc :/ I also need to have the hammer window active when I load a map, if not it will crash :(

The modelviewer has been around for some time yes, but the latest update made it much better.

Yup, new modelviewer rocks compared to the old version of the new. It was so slow and laggy. :?
