Is the map fully optimized? If not then fix it because it lags like fraking hell!

I confirmed the thing being corrected for various problems like the problem etc. that penetrated through the wall and were shot.
However, Lags is cruel as Saccn is said. :cry:

A severe load hangs in the timing that goes out of the house in the starting point.
I think whether in the character to multiuse a fade effect that a lot of objects, and is translucent in the direction of the front.

There is a thing that only the explosion occurs and the client crashes, too, when advancing on the tip of the bridge. :cry:

Oh boy, I'm trying to optimize the map but I really don't get where to start, I'm looking into hint brushes and what not but it just doesn't click in my head :?

Thanks for pointing that out, as I said, I am trying to optimize the map as much as I can.

Let me see at what I can do with the house and the translucent objects.

Explosion? As in the APC exploding then the client crashes? Please clarify a bit more.

The client of the player near the explosion crashes when the explosion by RPG and the grenade
occurs near the barricade in front of the enemy base.

Has the lower side of the bridge been covered with the hint brush?
Moreover, does not the texture of water use high cost texture?
I think that this causes lag if water texture is used a high cost while not covered with the hint brush.


How about shortening the distance of Zclip of env_fog?



Your map is interesting.
If lag disappears, it becomes better. :wink:

Crucial help needed here, anyone know the sprite that controllers shoot? People without hl1 can't see it at all and complain, so I really wanna find that sprite name please.

Hmm, You've pakrated the model/controller folder? I think it should be fine though I can't see the sprite. I've never heard anyone complain before.

Though my Paint shop struggles to open, whats the cnt1.vtf &vmt in the halflife source materials gcf?

Looks definitely like the controller sprite, except green in Photoshop lol

This could be it fug, thanks for your help, I'll just pack this in along with everything else to see if it helps :D

Tip: cluster bomb detonates itself after 5 seconds of using it, you better toss it with gravgun before it explodes in your face :P
