Day of Defeat Source scripted guns

I have finally finished my day of defeat source weapons pack for OC.

All the guns have ironsights , except for the glitched 30 cal.

I know its only 2 pictures, but would be to many to post if i uploaded all to a photo site.

I know the guns have a css gun icon in the items bar because i used css guns as bases, but modified the values of the gun, but when i tried to remove the icons, it created errors, so i left them in their.

Some of the guns you can see the end of the arms or the end of the gun, as in, when it turns invisble, I do not know why this happens.


I have included the bugged guns in a seperate .rar just incase someone knows how to fix them.

There are a few bugged guns, the 30 cal reloads instantly, but it also did this in gmod, so I think it is an engine error.
The colt when dropped, floats in mid air, it has a custom model because i though the world model was bugged, but it did not fix it.
The K98 normal rifle, non sniper that is, can not be selected from the menu.

Do they have world models? Your explaining in some ways were confusing.

Yes there is, but something with the colt bugs it floats in mid air when dropped even with a custom skin, and i figured out why people could not see the guns without downloading it, i forgot to add the gcf to my local server, so it went weird, will upload just the scripts shortly.

When I say world models, I meant in the player's hand. And rather then going through the player's stomach due to no animations, are they set in the player's hands appropriately like CSS weapons?

Ah, no they are not, the compiler does not like me lately, has errors with materialsystems.dll

Hi, good to see your away and scripting, yes then models need recompiling/decompiling.

As for the icons its possible to get them working, but it also requires some work. Makrontt was the first to discover how, if you look in this thread you'll see whats possible:

If you need more help I have a PM from Mak describing the process if he dosent mind you seeing it them I'm happy to post it.

Its good to see DOD:S weapons being worked on again, I'm planning one or two scripted DOD:S maps to make use of the weapons once the models get sorted and someone finishes all the scripts.
