Just a thread letting members of the community know there is a "new" server up, which is completely experimental as the name implies.
It features edited hl2 campaign maps only for the time being. The map rotation is currently:
d1_canals_01
d1_canals_01a
d1_canals_02
d1_canals_03
d1_town_01
d3_c17_04
d3_c17_05
d3_c17_06a
Server settings you want to be aware of
-no health kits or health stations, only PLAYERS can heal each other
-damage increased all around
-player checkpoint spawns to reduce the amount of back tracking
-ammo capacity and clip size changed all around
-npc spawns, some phys props/item locations, etc have been altered
-players must reach end of map -together- to allow map transition
-other changes i cant think of at the moment
-there will be a lot of death :p
If you happen to mess around on there, please leave any feedback or suggestions in this thread only, please keep in mind that the DEFAULT OBSIDIAN CONFLICT SETTINGS are not running on this server.
To play, click on "find servers" from the main menu, and join The Obsidian Experiment. Please be respectful to everyone.
Will update thread when significant changes or updates are made, but i'm currently taking a break from modding and so are the rest of the admins, perhaps during this time any avid Obsidian players can gather suggestions if this creates any interest.

shiftey set up the math logic for the door, it works pretty damn good
heres the ratio for the Transition blocker to be disabled
1 player on the server = 1 player needed
2 players on the server = 2 players needed
3 players on the server = 2 players needed
4 players on the server = 3 players needed
5 players on the server = 3 players needed
6 players on the server = 4 players needed
7 players on the server = 4 players needed
8 players on the server = 5 players needed
