So yeah, because i lack the skill to make something look broken, i would need help from someone willing to make this thing look broken (in pieces, not just broken as in texture wise). Not sure if requests are allowed here, since its "mapping help" i would assume its ok.
That elevator should look like as if it has fell in the elevator shaft (somewhat), the broken version should also have the same horizontal lenghts (so it can actually fit the shaft) and preferabley with flat bottom.
So i kinda want it to look broken in V shape-ish, but not very pointy. should fit to this shaft

Dont know if this can help you, but well...
I have an idea. Use Propper to convert that brush into a model. Import that model in Max and modify it, and later add it to the map (but maybe that can be too difficult).
Other idea is simply use clip tool in Hammer and later play with the vertex tool.
