Ion Rifle

Obsidian General.

Ion Rifle or Plasma Rifle?, this is just the name, not anything that effects the weapon it's self, and acording the the sound files, it's proper name is Ion.

The blue streaks in between the barrel guards on the original model glow in the dark, and it looks so sexy. Is that carrying over?

Will it be firing bullets/pulse shots, or a laser like the ep2 version? Cause I tried to make something like this is Gmod recently, and I could not for the life of me find that one god damned laser material >.<
1. My only question is where one would add rust/wear to a refurbished weapon?
2.I can not answer because I do not hold the texture files, nor can I say that they are definitely finalized.

I do agree with Shadow on the handles texture, needs some wear and tare.

When it's rigged, chances are you won't even see the majority of the handle texture, and they won't be noticeable in the w_model.

I'd like smooth edges on the body, they're way too sharp, maybe just chamfer them a bit?

I don't know, I've seen the same problem on other worldmodels and despite the small surface area in comparison to the rest of it, it still takes away a decent amount from the model as a whole. As for the viewmodel, the same thing applies, but I guess it depends on if you will even be able to see the handles in the first place.

Is this using custom a custom holdtype? It kinda looks like it's build to use the physgun holdtype but idk
