Halloween Special!
As the bell ominously tolls 13, you and your friends are awakened out of an alcohol-induced slumber by the sound of screaming.
The neighbors complained that you would wake the dead with the party you threw last night. Looks like they were right...

This is your classic shoot-em-up escape-the-city zombie map. 'nuff said.
I'm taking a break from Return to City 17, (creative juices weren't flowing) to work on a special Halloween map. I'm really hoping to get this released (even beta version) by Halloween. EDIT: Evidently this isn't happening, due to the universe conspiring against me. It'll be released soon anyways.
Status:
Currently, I've completed 99% of the geometry, and 99% of the entity-work.
Release Date: Wednesday, November 7th (probably sometime late at night)
Ideally I'd like to get some voice acting. Let me know if you're interested, and I'll PM you the lines and context. (Mainly I'm looking for a few short 10 second clips to advance the storyline a little.)
But enough about the map, let's see some screenshots!

"Eat lead."

"I seem to be outnumbered here..."

To spice things up, I'm using a custom zombie model by Snood.
Stuff I'd like:
- I'd like to get in a bunch of SWEPs, so if you know of any really neat SWEPs that work well, let me know! (semi-realistic weapons only please).
- Also, if you have any other models/textures/map-sections/etc you think would look good in this map, let me know (Anyone got a good pumpkin model?).
- I also might have a few voice-acting jobs for this map - depends on how much I get done.
Try not to eat too many brains...

Bit of an update:
It's 2:00AM right now, and I'm about to test out the first 1/3(?) of the map with entities, etc. If all goes well, I'll manage to finish it off over the weekend.

Just finished a bit of testing on the map - few things to re-work better, but all in all doing quite well. Lack of ammo though...
Speaking of which, how much health should the zombies have? I've currently got it set at 225, which takes quite a bit of ammo to kill them. And when you get a swarm of them it's either really panicky (when they've trapped you) or a little boring (when they haven't). Anyways, what are your guys' opinions on zombie health?
