I was reading a tutorial, on one of my best sites for complicated tutorials.
I would share the link to the site but it's better if you google it
(Appalachian Killing Grounds). If I try link the site, which sort of no longer exsists, the link puts you through to the host but you can't get past the first page before you hit errors, but If you google it the pages come up so you can read, although tutorials have no sample files anymore.

They seem to think, and this could all be wrong or outdated,...
But another way to target players in a multiplayer game rather than using 'player' instead of '!player' is to use Valves wildcard (*) system which means you could use '!player*'

I really want to experiment with the striders more see what happens if you use say !player* or I wouldn't mind try stuff like this !pvsplayer*

Oh yea, NOW i look on the forums, after searching through that system of tubes to try and find how the hell to target each of the players...

Oh well, now i know where the link is. Thanks fug4life!

!player with a ! is actually yourself ingame.

The others are just named "player" by the engine.

I dont know the whole * deal, but you could try it out.
