Something i started some days ago, i want to make a blackmesa style map, dont have a real story for it yet.

Its always good to have more than 1 map to work on, so when you get bored or run out of ideas for the current map, you can work on the other maps.

Careful with the combine soldier console type animation.

People wont see it if they dont have ep1.

Its from normal hl2, you can see it in the last nova prospect map.

I realllly dont think so :S

Got a picture? The only time Ive seen the soldiers using that animation was in the Core.

I think he (worfox) is right. Too lazy to fire up HL2...Do you mean when you and alyx are in the portal?

SEXEH!!

We should have a play through, hl:source, for reference and nostalga.
There's a lot of nice puzzles & traps, that I think you could get some great ideas from.

I liked stuff like the fans with upward thrust you had to use to get across an area! Going through vents and opfor open up a door and chuck a nade in.

W0rf0x's right. It is from normal hl2 - I've used the animation a few times myself and works without a problem.

It's bugging me how bright the sky is but how dark the map is, either brighen up the outsides or make a darker skybox.
