Well with all the things going on everywhere else things are a bit depressing. Good news is there's still players on the servers so I thought I'd try feed them.

I'm releasing early, one to check for bugs and two to take on any suggestions within reason! I wanted the dead players to respawn into barnacles which I had, but sadly couldnt implement effectively. I did want other players to be able to rescue (jailbreak style), but it all got out of hand. I thought about this map being easily converted to a simple mapadd, what I've done is still quite simply though it still took some work.

Here's the primary inspiration with a hint of Aliens thrown in:

FPS isn't so hot in the last pictures but it was during testing and it has now been fixed. Its quite reasonable even on my system.

Edit: I'd just like to mention I added the eight weapons from my pack, but I'd high recommend you try out Makrontt la necron's replacement scripts for all the current CS:S weapons. see his thread:

It's now 27 mb, the map was too quiet so i added some music and fixed what I needed to.

Indeed its a map probably with the most hated two npc's headcrabs and barnacles! Damn I love'em.

Good to see you alive still, So you and Hyper busy with college/uni etc?
All I want to know when is completion date for judgement day and your robot to rise against us? :shock:

Btw, two map bugs sorry only small ones I'll change later in a few weeks time just the the merchant needs "item_shield" "0" added to its items list. As spawning into game with shield makes you loose it. And one or two custom weapons just need moving as something blocks them on respawn and they pop out at 0,0,0 (currently at the bombsite). Thats it.
So I'll add a new modify soon to the rest of files and i'll give a seperate link for those who have alreayd downloaded.

Erm a quick question to anyone who tested this map?

Do you see all/any of the toxic slime decals that the barnacles have underneath them in game? Like in these screenshots?

Because they were overlays but I made decal vmt's for them and forgot to include the files? So I assume nobody sees this?

Yeah, I'm with Mak on that and I played on a YaS server and on my own. Any progress on the weapon removal?

Fixed 99% of issues, I started to add more barnacles but my 'all npcs on in map on screen at once' crashed me so I may have to get rid off the new additions.
